# Iris When [[Tam's Campaign/NPCs/November Bituin|November]] cast an extremely powerful emotion-fueled spell, Iris sprang into existence on an upper plane. As a Sphinx of Wonder, she is deeply curious about _emotional magic_ because that was the idea that created her. Since she is, in essence, made of November's particular style of magic, she is deeply emotional. Since she's existed for less than a year, she is not fully in control of her emotions. She is deeply protective of and loving toward November and more than a little jealous of the fact that he loves [[Tam's Campaign/Tam|Tamara]]. While she is compelled by her nature (aka alignment) to be kind and virtuous, she nevertheless will find little ways to flaunt the fact that she is November's _Familiar_ which is an inexplicable and mystical bond. No she will not explain what she means by that.
