[Sound of wind]
[VO: A female voice, not a known character, is speaking. The voice is rich, sonorous.]
She has many names.

[SFX: Golden sparkles blowing sideways across the frame, then some green and sea-blue mixed in as well. The image slowly fades up from black to purple and mauve clouds]

She’s made powerful enemies, powerful allies, and powerful promises.

[Exterior shot: the clouds form into a landscape. Above the cloudscape is a dark sky studded with stars, a galaxy like the Milky Way spilled vertically across the frame.]

Just two years ago she was alone, poor, stealing from richer houses to support her father.

[Flashback to Tam in a tattered cloak, years younger, literally cutting a rich man’s purse.]

Then one job changed everything.

[Montage: The job in the Fog where she met Ephialtes, Then Tam and Mr. Rana, then Tam and Bel, then Tam and November, scenes from earlier chapters establishing each character.]

You could say her life has been like a dream…

[The scene returns to the cloudscape, in the plane of Dream. No music, no sound except the sound of footsteps, clearly artificial as a dark, shadowed figure approaches the camera. The figure is solidly muscled, backlit, so the camera can see that they have a sword on their hip, and long hair. They are still entirely in shadow, but the overall shape is feminine, and at first glance would suggest a gladiator or mercenary, a professional fighter. The camera pans up, so that the figure’s shadowed face is now in frame, a neck-up shot. No facial features are visible as of yet.]

Do you remember some of your dreams?

[Sound of a match striking. The figure lifts the match to her face, revealing skin like stone, a gray marble color, smooth like she has been polished, save for an ugly scar across one cheek, that just barely misses her left eye. Her eyes are the color of pewter, a dull but not unattractive gray. She blows the match out and the scene goes entirely dark.]

Voiceover is now in the male “Narrator” voice that spoke in the previous trailers.
[Montage: as the following narration plays we see shots of battles and court dramas that are mentioned.]
From the wild Moonshae Isles to the frozen north, Tamara Hawthorne has battled and triumphed over Mortals, Fae, and the Convocation. She has gathered allies. She knows what’s coming—

[Brief shot of her dream of the great wave, when Suvi first identified herself to Tam]

And she has learned that she can’t do it alone.

[Montage of the main cast’s faces.]

But this time she will have to.

[Recap scene: Revealing that Diphalos stole Lady Nerida’s Crown, that it is hidden in Dream, and that Tam will have to retrieve it alone.]

This Autumn—
[Exciting orchestral music. Mr. Rana’s voice]

Rana: The Geography of Dream isn’t the same for any two beings.

Kore: And no Mortal has ever set foot in it whilst awake1

[Voice over continues as the scene fades to black]

Tamara has to leave her allies and loves behind—

[November’s voice: Just come back safe, Tam.]

[VFX: A title dissolves out of the darkness as the narration speaks]
